Dave McNally, DNP, APN, CRNA, joined NJANA as a Student Representative in 2021 and served through 2022.  He then joined the NJANA Board of Directors in 2022 as a director. Since joining the board, he has held positions such as SRF Grant Chair and currently serves as the Secretary on the Executive Board.

Dave earned his Bachelor of Science in Nursing (2014) from Wagner College and Doctor of Nursing Practice in Nurse Anesthesia (2022) from Rutgers University. Dave began his career as a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthesiologist (CRNA) at Robert Wood Johnson University Medical Center, where he specialized in pediatric and then cardiothoracic anesthesia. Currently, he practices in the great state of New Jersey as an Independent Contractor CRNA, as well as in New York City.

Dave has guest lectured at the University of Pennsylvania, Rutgers University, and Hunter College’s programs in Nurse Anesthesiology. Additionally, he has served as a conference/workshop instructor for NJANA in 2024 and 2025. Dave’s current professional passions focus on obstetrical anesthesia, regional anesthesia, and point-of-care ultrasound.

Likes and hobbies – I love spending time with my family. My wife and I have two young sons who keep us blissfully busy.
